Cleanliness in healthcare has not always been recognized as important. When Hungarian doctor Ignaz Semmelweis first started telling people that his experiments having all his doctors wash their hands before delivering babies saved the lives of hundreds of women, most doctors ridiculed him. But eventually we learned about the dangers that lurk around hospitals and started developing protocols for keeping them clean. Seldom has this practice been more recognized by everyone than during the current COVID-19 corona virus pandemic.
At Folcrom we design all of our ergonomic arms to be easily cleaned and maintained using standard healthcare cleaning solutions. All our products have an antibacterial solution integrated into our paint and plastic parts to reduce the risk of cross contamination between users.
The Folcrom arms are designed to be easily cleaned using a cloth or similar product. Just make sure to use damp or moist cleaning product, not overly wet. We recommend cleaning once a week or whenever it’s necessary.
We endeavor to support most standard cleaning solutions currently used in hospitals and if you have any doubts about what solutions you should use we simply recommend warm water.
